oh yea, I'll be at the 45 run for sure now...

Did you look at this rig before you bought it? Not that it is in bad shape... not that I wouldn't have considered buying it myself, but it has been used steady for a long time.. I will be curious to see pics of the bed once it is cleaned out.. Bummer to see it leave the area. Armstrong, right?

No I didn't look at the rig, but its my dream truck and comes with an extra bed... going to get it sat morning.

Its been hit on the drivers axle, but frame not bent.
its got a bad freeze plug... so I hope I can make it back to Seattle.

Taking the bus down.

I'm pretty sure its a good deal... and yes he is a cool guy, owned it for 33 years, which is my age. Muhahhaha

Hopefully this will make it to Seattle, where I can fine tune it for the 45 run, because my Lv Lefty is no where close to being ready.

That would be awesome. Keif, I would def like to meet you.. I should be in sat morning. Maybe we can do breakfast "before" going to aquire the rig?

Let me know if your avail.... and let me know if you need LV parts since I'm headed that way.

do you know how many times i have talked to the guy that owned that rig and religiously he explained to me how rare the rig was and i would never find one. But at least a 45 freak got it. Defiantly been used but hey. I have watched that rig for years in the medford area. Good hunt mike. Joe

Joe, I wish I could bring the roof down, but greyhound doesn't have the cargo space! Want to meet up?

Dangit man, now I feel bad.

Way to jump the gun and buy a neat old truck--I am sure there are a line of guys waiting behind you. If you run into problems in Oregon I am located in central OR and could come over to help--if all else fails I have a truck with trailer. Take photos of your trip to Seattle and your new toy.

I hope I don't have to take you up on that. 450 miles is a long trek for that truck though. If I can get within 100 miles of home Tripple A will get a call.
