Change of plans, I found a carrier that will ship it to my door for $350.... would have loved the road trip but I'll save that for the 45 run

Hehehe I'd say that was a good decision... probably would have been a couple hundred in gas plus bus ticket, plus maybe not getting home on time/towed..... Alright, I take back the sissy part.... However in August, I will surely stop by Medford and meet Robert... he is a cool guy on the phone and I'm sure a tear will come to his eye when a truck he's owned for 33 years leaves...

Mikesta, Congrats on this score... I was eating pizza with my son one night last January when Kiwi Karriers called from Arizona and said they had loaded my LPB on the truck and were headed towards Seattle. I remember it very well. Mine was sight unseen too, so the anticipation was killing me. ... but I think I felt more like a giddy schoolboysorry, couldn't resist

I saw a horid accident on I5 yesterday.....looked like a trailer with bits of 45 sticking out
come awn......pics man![]()
I imagined every scenario possible. None of them were good, but my avatar is the truck about an hour after we rolled (dragged) it off Kiwi's truck...Well, I did mount those wheels/tires before I would bring it onto the island. When mine was picked up last winter, The driver decided to go to S. Cal for a 'few days' to visit relatives with my rig on the trailer.I imagined every scenario possible. Sheesh, I'm getting the schoolboy thing just waiting to see your pictures. You dont happen to have one of those catholic schoolgirl uniforms on do you?![]()
this whole thing has me on pins and needles.
His bro was supposed to be here yesterday, but loading the tractors and moving the truck around slowed him down... so he was stuck in Vancover.
Then today, He needed to get 2 tires fixed before the weigh station. He parked the trailer at the mall Macy's in Vancouver. Then the security towed it.
He got the tires fixed but the compound where the truck was taken to put the trailer down to low, so it took another truck and about 2 hours to get that trailer fixed.
He has family in Vancouver, so I think he is hooking up with them.... so no 45 yet.
No I'm not too worried... I think I'll have a drink.
I'm trying to get him to deliver it to my house tomorrow...
