FWIW, per a request I found compression test numbers from December 2018, not long after taking ownership and before all work being done. I also found the original Owner's Manual (great condition). I also have the Owner's Guide which is in poor shape but does note the original owner, etc.

Weather permitting, I will be taking her for a spin during SEWE weekend here in Charleston... might throw a For Sale sign on her but trying to avoid the gen pop if possible, ha. If any mudders are around and enjoying the event and want to have a joyride or two, keys are yours.

Pretty darn solid price right there. If you are trying to convince yourself that a yellow 40 won't attract attention from EVERYONE, forget it. And, you will never stop looking back as you walk into Walmart.
My wife's yellow 40 was less money but I flew past the seller's number a long time ago just getting it where this one is.

GLWS!

5/3 update:

I had the 40 fully inspected yesterday (5/2/2024) and attaching paperwork below. Per a recent conversation with a potential buyer, I asked them to evaluate the underside rust, so you will see that note as well (and their response: "frame surface rust/body rust" and ranked it a 1-2 on scale of 5, with 5 being the worst).

Summary of services performed and findings/recommendations:
- Oil & Filter service
- Lube chassis, check all bulbs, check/top off all fluids
- Tire rotation/pressure
- Water in transmission, so flushed and filled with oil

- Front and rear driveshafts are out of phase
- Rear transmission mount is deteriorating
- Birfields are leaking (rated a 1)
- PTO is inoperable
- Rear brakes need cleaning and adjustments
- Air filter is dirty
- Turn signals (and horn) are inoperable
- Dash missing some screws

I've really enjoyed driving her the last few weeks, so hoping someone can come rip the bandaid soon... been a slow 'goodbye.'

Still for sale... currently getting joyrides a couple times a week courtesy of my dad, so she's been out of sight for a while now (but I'm receiving positive updates). Shoot me a note if interested.

Bittersweet day... kinda hoped it would never sell but know she's in good hands... looking forward to getting back in the game down the road.
Promise, she is in good hands!
