Does anyone know if the SWC works with Siri or is the only way to activate Siri on the screen?
I think it works, but will need to check. I just use the "Hey Siri" when I want to make a call or text or whatever.

For anyone who got the steering wheel controls and wireless carplay, are there additional modules required, or is it firmware updates? If they are modules, could you share pictures and/or photos? I bought a used Naviplus setup and am trying to figure out if I have those features or not, and if not, how to add them. I am emailing back and forth with Naviplus customer support too, but so far, haven't gotten the info that I'm looking for.

I got the SWC on my NP unit for my 2018. There was just 2 boxes and wiring harnesses. I think SWC were all software.

Not sure if this will help or not. Here is what mine looked like. This is for a MY19.

I purchased the SWC "module" and it wasn't very clear what hardware, if any, enables that function. I had two boxes, one small Netplay unit and a larger unit with lots of connection ports. I'm thinking it's either firmware or something in the cabling.

As a side note, in my experience, the wireless CarPlay isn't worth it. Obviously lower sound quality than wired, with small but noticeable dropouts on a frequent basis. I always go wired now. . .

Sorry there was also another small box. Seems I only have picture of the sides of it.

I have had the same experience with the wireless carplay as well. I just use the wired all the time now.

@CharlieS I found a picture of the smaller box. This should answer the question. It has wireless CarPlay on it.

Just for another data point, here is what the naviplus for the 2016-2017 (and some 2018?) with resistive touch screen looks like (quite different):

I think this cable may have something to do with the SWC.

@RobW0 I think that's just for the RCA input to AUX. It's bypassing the stock AUX jack and giving us a stereo RCA instead to accept the RCA out from the other harness that has RCA outs.

You are probably right.

Naviplus got back to me. This version doesn't support wireless CarPlay or steering wheel controls. Hopefully it works... I guess the only way to know is to install it and see what happens.

I just pinged Naviplus Sales with the following questions. The first is because I thought I understand that someone was using the unit without the provided microphone (which I understand is a PITA to install and not that great quality). The second question is based on what I saw in @herosfc's post. I like the idea of the USB port using one of my blank switch panel slots.

1) Do I need to use/install your microphone or can I order a kit for my model LC that does not require me to install a microphone? Yes, you do as it's for a voice command in CarPlay mode but you can still use the original Microphone for a normal call

2) The USB port for wired connection (I hope to use wireless but just in case). Some who have purchased from you say that you provided a switch panel "blank" that fits great and allows them to use one of the spare switch panel spots on the LC. This would work great for me! How can I be sure that would be included?
Yes, we provide it as a kit now!

There may be easier ways to install the microphone that don't involve running it up to the headliner. I'm not using Naviplus, but newer version of the EC Offroad module has a microphone that comes with 2 different mounting clips. One of the clips can be attached to the center speaker cover, the only downside being that it causes the cover to not fully sit flush at the front (where it faces the windshield). Here are a couple of photos showing what it looks like:
