Carpet

Just replaced the front & rear carpets in a 1979 FJ40. My rig had carpets that covered the rear wheel wells. I called all of the usual suspects (parts places) & no one has any clue about where to find them. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thx, devo. Definitely AM. SOR had no idea, but offered to sell me carpet (& possibly sew it up) that matches the front & rear carpet that I just bought from them.

some of the rigs from south America look to have carpets in them
but
not a fan of carpet in 40 as they tend to keep moisture against the floorboards

Thx. Did not pull trigger once I learned they were not original stuff. Went w/ bare inside fenders.

good plan. carpet in a 40 is a terrible idea.

I did put in adhesive/foil backing under all carpets & rear bed; & a bit up the firewall on each side. REALLY reduced sound & made a difference under the new carpet & bed liner carpet. Ordered the stuff from Amazon.
