My recent experience with diesel heaters says that you should keep the fuel line to the heater as short as possible, use hard plastic tubing with rubber fittings, not flexible tubing, and orient your pump at a 45 degree angle with the outlet on top. There are several kits on Amazon to allow you to drill into a tank and place a pick-up tube for diesel heaters. Most of them I have seen were being tapped into portable containers, but I'm sure they'd work for a vehicle tank as well.

Making a lot of progress on the build out, courtesy of my buddy Eric Henry who's a local carpenter. The isle ended up being a shorter width than expected due to my 73 quart fridge. Adjustments may happen in the future, but I was more concerned about actually storage space than walking around space. The left side drawer is about 7' long on heavy duty rail slides (not shown yet). This will eventually hold all the kitchen equipment, stove, etc. Left and right side dead space will have access panels for electrical panels on one side and the diesel heater on the other. More to come and hopefully before Relic Run.

I have a dumb question.

As someone who dreams of family stuff in a troopy.

Are there any rear seats in yours? Any plans for them?

How big of a family?

Beautiful build

Not a dumb question at all. I can fit 3 in mine with the front bench. No rear seat, but i typically go out in a group, so the other kids/wife can ride with others. Dogs go in the back on the bed.
