I am replacing my front bumper cover and am trying to get the fog lights removed. I noticed that half of the threads and nuts are virtually rust free and the others are horribly rusted. It looks like someone replaced three of the threads and nuts. I have already broken one of the rusty ones and was wondering if anyone might know how they did this? I checked on Lexus Parts and they only sell the nut, not the threads. Check out the pictures and let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Yes, but...they aren't sold separately so you have to find a donor (if it's cracked or otherwise useless, rob it of what you need, otherwise use it and dump your other). I had to glue mine back together when I repaired the front end damage, I mean modification, my son did.

Thanks for the replies. I just ended up buying an aftermarket pair off of eBay for like $80. I have them installed and they work well for now.
