I broke all of my drill bits trying to do things they weren't supposed to do, but the steering box is in place. I still need to sleeve one hole.

I'm going to run tie rod ends at all four ends. I will extend my HD drag link to connect the steering box to the steering arm at the knuckle. I will keep the stock tie rod to act as a fusible link if something needs to let go and just carry a spare.

Now that the box is in place, I can locate the panhard mount, which centers in the steering box holes.

Since the 60 frame is wider, I will sleeve the brace to extend it the extra inch. I can use the same sleeve tubing to adjust the panhard, if necessary.

The box is very close to where it would be in an 80, maybe 1/4" off. I should retain all of the factory geometry.

I don't think so. I haven't tried to fit it yet though. It should have more clearance than before.
