Hey Guys,

I sent SHREDwagon a note, but it looks like a number of you might have a copy of his dwg file as well. Would anyone be willing to share? Thanks!

I would like the file as well, but can't figure out how to PM anyone. Got a waterjet at the office to cut the parts, just need the file to plug in

Sent SHREDwagon a msg thru his web site, no reply. Posted on here that I would also like a copy of the cad file, no reply. Helpful bunch on here. How much would it cost to buy the file? I think it looks better than the ARB, but with no help from anyone on this thread, I guess I've got to figure one out for myself.

click on the name of who you want to PM and a button will pop up asking if you want to start a conversation.....there you go!

This thread is years old. Calm down fellas. I doubt the OP doesn't check this much anymore.

What would be the typical charge for someone to weld one of the kits together? I don't know how to weld....so just trying to figure out a normal charge for a front or rear bumper.

Making it fit and everything in correct location is one aspect; this is fabrication. Not a job for a muffler shop
Welding it out is another aspect; easy, any decent muffler shop could prolly do, takes about an hour.

Does anyone have cad plans for a rear bumper with swing out? I have access to cad and the equipment to cut, bend, and weld the bumper but need plans for one that does not require removal of the rear cross member.

Don't know what the hourly rate is for welding, but, if you get into the $200 range, you might want to consider buying a used welder off of craigslist or you could even buy a HF. Its a good skill to learn, and welding up your own bumper will provide you with ample opportunity.

Hello, my name is Michael. I'm from Germany. Please excuse my English, it's a long tim eago I went to school. I'm driving a 1993 LC 80 with the 1HD-T. I modified some stuff on my truck. 3" lift, 285/75-16 tires, watercooled intercooler, 3" exhaust ........
Now I want to build heavy duty bumpers (front and rear) . Maybe somebody will share a CAD model of a bumper, I like the bumper from Shred, but he is not anwering my PM. So i decided to try it this way, maybe somebody have the CAD file I'm looking for.
Cuting and bending is not a Problem.

Thanks an greetings from Germany

Scroll up about 5 posts in this thread. Someone posted one.

Thank you. I saw this pdf file. I would like to have another design. And I'm still looking for a rear one.

Yep - Anyone who wants a CAD file just needs to PM me their email. A few have been built.....
FWIW - If you’re paying someone else (jet, bend and weld) a Slee would be a better choice.

I built my bumper with a CAD based software called autodesk. Your more than welcome to any of my files, but I'm not sure if a tube bumper is what your looking for. Here is what I have. Here's the thread that goes through the entire build.

I’m curious if you’re still using autodesk ? ? I’m torn between Fusion360(which I believe is Autodesk nowadays) and Solidworks . . . I’ve only really used google sketchup and want to get onboard with something betterer 😆
