Hi,
I've been thinking to use the Mega cruiser as a base for an expedition camper until I read somewhere that payload is around # 1,075 only. That may be the one for BXD 20 and what about BXD 10? Is there an affordable way to increase payload? What can this wonderful vehicle tow?
Unfortunately there are not much specifications online.
Is here somebody who know about these no?

If you can get your hands on one that is useable you will be lucky. They only made 197 and most are either locked up in collections or have been totalled.
Getting parts also wont be easy.

EDIT Although many mechanical parts are borrowed from Toyota and Landcruisers

Are those lifting points on the hood for the engine or the whole vehicle?

Do the military versions have the same interior and other specs as the civilian models?

The lifting points are for the whole vehicle.

Civilian version has a much nicer interior, seats, aircon, CD player etc.

I prefer the bare-bone military spec ...

the only VIN I could find is that of a German luxury mega Cruisers for privately that reads " BXD20 000 10 23 "
So my question:
Does anyone have one or more chassis numbers from a BXD10 Toyota Mega Cruiser

Sorry no photos that I can find at the moment. Both batteries sit under the passenger side (Left side of vehicle) seat.
I believe we just placed regular group 31 batteries.
