A friend of mine is selling his 1978 FJ40. Posting up here before it gets cleaned, detailed, re photographed and put up for sale nationally.
2F, 4spd, A/C, disc brakes (4 wheel), Old Man Emu 2.5” springs and suspension, Pakistani soft top with matching doors.
84K original miles, original paint, original upholstery, no rips or tears. Less than 1500 miles on BFG Mud Terrains.
A couple of minor rust spots, some minor chips and scratches. No dents. Never has had any body repairs, undercoating, detailing or touch up done. Frame and underneath is rust free and solid. Aside from some aftermarket additions, This is probably the most unmolested and untouched FJ40 around anymore.
This vehicle is turn key. Runs and drives well. Never been off road. Never parked outside. Always been in garage or under carport.
Non stock items are Weber carb and radiator.
Original hard top, side doors and ambulance doors are in good condition and go with vehicle. Original carburetor and air cleaner also.
