Making a deal on a rig, offered 4200,00 for this rig, has a engine issue..

Although not perfect, from Vancouver island and all our trucks are rusted out..this truck is great..

What ya think..?

Pretty excited, try and get the old girl up and running first then have at a suspension lift then maybe a high steer plus IFS box..


Your lucky to live in Texas, we live in a rain forest, so this truck is a a rarity plus its so untouched, no speakers cut into doors, all original.

Considering it's a 30 years old truck I say it looks purdy. $4200 might be a little high, but it is an 85 which is just about the holy grail of the mini world. Fix it up. Personally, these trucks are so easy to work on I would get it and just deal with the issues as time and money allow.

I also think it's high. Like mentioned before 1985 with efi = holy grail for mini truck. The truck looks great.

Well as things go, you guys helped me make the decision to walk away for a few reasons.

1 Price was a little high
2 exchange rate add another thousand
3 Ferry trailer and taxes at the boarder
4 And most importantly I will be getting shoulder surgery, unable to wrench at the moment with two hands..

It was not so much the price as it was my shoulder, I did struggle over this decision....

If it were a runner I would of payed 5K..again not being able to wrench..

Hate to show my age but I had a simular truck and era, would not change a thing...

EFI, Solid axle, Xtra cab.... Guys pay $4200 just to make there rigs that way..... Just sayin. That is THE truck to have. They are REALLY hard to find unmolested and beaten to hell. Kids get them and destroy them. They are rare for sure
