I was kind of hoping to find something a bit closer to Indiana however I will let you know as soon as I get it in paint and am ready for the parts. Thanks

I wasn't talking huge parts, rather the silly (at least, that's what I call the parts that nickel and dime me to death) parts like the switches, hvac controls, gauges, wiring harness... stuff that fits in a flat rate box.... trust me when I say this, you won't get a better deal - mostly because I believe in rescuing rather than buying... heck, if you were a missionary who provided free flights for medical emergencies to people in Bolivia, I'd give the stuff to you :)

@Indygbd , I think you should take SuperBuickGuy up on his offer...he's a great guy and gives stuff away all the time, you will not regret dealing with him! There are some really great folks on here, and this is one of them!

Update. I have been working on the project, however it is going slower than expected. That is normal, right? Anyway, I am ready for paint now. The frame is sandblasted and ready for paint. The engine is almost done and ready to go. I ordered new front fenders and body mounts the other day. I just ordered the following parts from Toyota: New lights front and rear, all new emblems, weather stripping, radiator cap, gas cap, spark plugs, plug wire set, cap, rotor, new valve cover bolts, brakes, calipers, seals, gaskets, ect... I think the only things left to buy are new interior seat covers, drivers seat foam, water pump, and tires. Photos will be coming soon.....

Great job! That's a lot of Toyota parts! I hope @beno was in the loop.

I am actually the Manager of a Toyota dealership so getting a deal on the parts is not the problem. The problem is on downtime looking up what else I can buy! Its still gets expensive

I'm glad you have a solid parts connection.

How about some progress pics of your 40.

Alright, the first coat of paint is on the bottom of the tub. Here are the photos. Are any of you surprised this is the same burnt FJ40 that I started with a few short months ago?
