UPADTE. I have been very busy with work and family and have not accomplished too many new things in the last week or so. I did manage to get the rest of my parts blasted. Here are the photos of those items.

Looks great. What are you doing to the pads to bring them back to life?
I cleaned the dash pad using degreaser. I then set it out to air dry. I then used vinyl spray that I purchased from NAPA. I don't recall the brand, however it worked great. I just started spraying off the part first and ended off the part. That way the splatter did not end up on the part. It looks brand new! Good stuff. I even practiced on a lower dash pad first. When it dried I scrubbed it with a rag, soap, and water. Still looks like new.

The project is going a bit slower than anticipated, but it's coming along. As you can see, I enjoy the little detail work! Restoring the little parts is a lot of fun and relaxing for me. I hope you put the roll bar to good use. If you need anything else let me know. I bought another parts car since you were here.

I have been working on it. I just haven't posted any photos lately. I have been working on the frame, suspension, and the engine. The frame is done, engine is almost done, and I stated installing the new old man emu suspension yesterday.

It has been sometime now and I have barely worked on the FJ40. My barn is not heated, so I decided to try and finish and heated workshop with a loft in the barn before winter. That is almost completed now, so progress should continue soon. Here are the latest photos.
