Hi Guys, just wondering, how hard would it be to fit axles from a leaf sprung troopie to a coil sprung Bundera? I'm interested in the disk brakes all round, stronger axles and free floating setup in the rear. Anyone done similar?

well if you have welding skill .. its not that hard... lots of work but not dificult.. I thrink the rear of the bundara its a 8" axle.. so its going to be stronger.

Hi all,

Is this a Daihatsu made vehicle, badged as a Toyota?

If so, Hilux axles would be a good upgrade.

Regards,

Alan

I thought they were basically the same as a Hilux axle with a slightly different length.

Yes they are essentially a Hilux diff with an offset pumpkin. Transfer case and steering box aside, all the mechanicals in a Bundera are Hilux based.

Bundera is the name for a light duty SWB Landcruiser in Australia.
