This is fantastic news! I have Mike’s 100 Series rear bumper and love it! I’ve been trying to find a ladder for it, but haven’t had any luck!

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the company
Thank you for the kind words!

Is that the standard rear bumper or the high clearance rear?

A ladder for the bumper sounds interesting...

Mike
Are you next to the powder coating shop in Windsor? Use to see some cruisers there every time i would take a batch there from Steamboat, Had lunch with TJ a few weeks ago when visiting my daughter at CSU when you were helping him with his Pig, unless I am thinking of someone else?
We are still there!
Mike was a big help when @PabloCruise was stuffing that H55F into his Pig.

Great to see the renewed effort here! I know a lot of folks who run BIO products and love them. The bumpers and sliders on our 60 was all Bump-It...

give us a shout if we can help with anything.

looks like "someone" will be upgrading their 60 bumper in the next few months! I always loved the bumper on @nakman 's 60. and that fancy one you shared above has me drooling. looking forward to supporting a local CO Biz.

I have the Dual S/O. The last I talked to Mike, he stopped making them. The Jerry Can basket is great, but makes my truck just a hair too long for the garage as it's past the rear tire a few inches.

Great to hear! I have Mike's step sliders and HC rear bumper with dual swing outs. I'm in need of a basket/jerry can holder on the left swing out as I opted not to purchase at the time I bought the HC rear bumper.

For my 100 series

What a fun post to fin, glad to hear the guy behind BIO is still involved

To be fair, I never thought BIO even left. Mike has been super responsive to me anytime I have hit him up over the years asking random stupid questions. Anything from info on refreshing the swing out / bearings to ideas for mounting more equipment. A bumper is a lot of money to the consumer but to a vendor it's not a major payout , so to provide the customer support that all of us nerds come to expect is great.

I think I got this back in 2018? If I could do it all over again I'd keep my spare under the truck and would have run dueling cargo baskets. The max trax now live up on the roof on a Gamiviti rack

Suppose if I could pick one thing to complain about, I did have to re-powder coat the bumper after a winter or two. But no big deal, I've learned that powder coating applications really vary and some just don't hold up as long.

Right now we are in the process of starting things back up again.
That will include setting the product catalog.
Please stand by and we will see where ladders fit in the grand scheme of things.

The HC rear bumper for 100s is a really nice piece. The jerry can holder is a very useful item. Stand by for updates!

We love hearing what everyone is after. We hope to have the product catalog sketched out soon.

Thank you for the kind words, we are glad to hear you like your bumper.

Mike really is a great resource to the Land Cruiser community.

You make a great point about pricing! These bumpers do represent a noticeable investment by the consumer. By the time you design, purchase material and then cut, bend, weld, powder coat, there is a lot of cost tied up in the manufacture of these products! And I don't know if you have seen shipping costs lately...

We could always make you another passenger side swing-out with a basket if you want to put the spare back under your 100. Let us know if we can help you with that!

Powder coat - yes. I don't know what they use on the roads in Montana, but in CO the mag chloride is pretty nasty stuff. It will definitely do some damage on the powder coating unfortunately.
