The new design on these lets you change the angle of the cable, so it runs at a 45 down uner the cross bar its mounted too.. The only thing i need to figure out right now is how close to the exhaust is too close. i may need to move it or make a heat sheild.

That new design would be great. I've got the old where it sticks out the back and I have their bulky mount too. I would have liked to be more compact like yours as I think it looks better.

Bringing back this Thread

Some days you just don’t want to work on your truck.. So im trying to get some motivation by Reviving this Thread!

Since my Last Post, i put some KMC Beadlocks on her, and Fabtech Remote Rez Shocks.

I Entered the We Rock Dirt Riot Race for Trail Rigs this summer and Won!!
W.E.ROCK aka World Extreme Rock Crawling | Competitive rock crawling at it's best, West, East and Regional events. W.E.ROCK aka World Extreme Rock Crawling
Onboard Footage of on of the laps ( i forgot to turn on the camera at the start, but once i was in the lead i started it) - We Rock Dirt Riot Race Trail Class Onboard HD Crawlorado - YouTube

The race was Way Fun, and We Rock is expanding the events this year. If they have one near you, DO IT!

So the Plan is to try to Stick to the We Rock Trail Stock Rules and make it work better at speed.

Things that need to be addressed...
Steering is Sketchy at speed - Going to Build a Wider Front housing to eliminate the Spacers, and go to Heim joints..
Rear Leafs are Way too Stiff.. Also need to Re mount the Shocks..
Engine Gets Hot when i floor it the whole time.. :) so i may need to dial back the Timing, or look at a large aluminum Radiator (Currently running a Radiator Barn 3 core)
Front 2 peice driveshaft is not happy at 50MPH due to the angles.. I may need to re design it..

They are the DOT 38x14.5

So far they are great! With the 37" Pit Bulls i needed to be under 5psi for them to start Biting.. :) (they only measured 35")

The Kevlar's hook up similarly at 8psi, which gives them alot better tracking and feel

i still like to drive around town, on the street they are 10 times better than the Pit Bulls

Dirt/Gravel Road Rallying is also Amazing! Feels like a slot car!

Love how this rig sits and looks one of my favorites for sure. If you don't mind what is your frame height from the ground?

If those are the new MTR's I can't say enough good things about them! (I have the 40")

They work much better than my friends iroc's and we have comparable rigs.. I'll walk over stuff that he has trouble on..

Came out GREAT!!!!
LOVE the stance, and I love the tube work of the rear quarters.
I need to do something like that!!!

Nice job!!!

that's the real measure mounted in your wheels with your 40 weight on ?

They actually measure 38" with no weight on them.
36" at 8psi with the weight of the truck.

Hey man, good meeting you last month at that Jeeps for Jugs event in Colorado Springs. Here area couple photos I took of your cruiser.

Nice! thanks for the photos, hope you enjoyed your time in Colorado!

This is probably one of my favorite rigs. Great job!

Hate to say it, but it will probably have somewhat of a clone in the near future. :D

Eh, i copied woodys rig! Gotta go with what works!

I picked up a Kingpin 60 and 14 Bolt for a buggy, but dont really have the time/tools/Space to build a rig from scratch, so they will be going under the cruiser very soon!

Sweet rig! Love the new rims and tires! Will I see you at Moab in May?

i Have not measured it since the new tires, but I would stay under 22" for Frame Height!

Thanks, next year going to have to find a way to lower mine I think.
