does this include text as well?

I can send and recieve text messages, but I think AT&T charges like a dollar a text while I am on an offshore tower. my employer has no ability to block that... otherwise I am sure they would.

I just bought an IMac :) Methinks once I get the hang of it it will be much better than ALL the Windows:cool:

welcome to the bright side ;p

This is a pic of the bulldozer's diesel and supply hauling truck. It is a 76' BJ40. The leafspring is shifted 5 inches over to the drivers wheel, shock busted, etc.......... This is the only corner I looked at. I was too scared to look anywhere else. These guys are driving this thing in some very dangerous spots too. It is not like they are just driving down the road. I have checked their insurance policies before hand and I am just going to be glad when this is over, which is tomorrow. The reason I am on MUD so much right now is because I am waiting for them to fix a broken hydraulic line from the dozer.:bang:

Any of you boys or girls from the Laff area coming to BR, NO, Mandeville, Covington, Slidell or any area near any time soon? I am in need of a tire for a spare and a guy on LA4X4 has one he is willing to part with and I am looking for anyone who can transport it my way. So, let me know if you can help me out.

I can give it a ride I'll be traveling to NO this weekend, headed down HWY 90 for the Westbank. The Carol Sue and Terry PKWY area near Oakwood Mall.

I knew one of you folks would be headed this way! You staying for the bowl game?
Sent you a PM Larry. :)

Not staying for the bowl :frown: I wanted to stay but the wife is worried about getting back at midnight or later with school and work Monday not to mention having to dodge drunks through all the small towns on HWY 90. She won that discussion and for good reason so I'll be suffering in my living room watching the new 65 inch DLP and DVR so I can have my own replays :D

Your tire is in the 80 and I should be in Westbank by 5 this afternoon

Probably Tech Section...

I've heard great things about the KM2 and they are a hard compound. The hard compound doesn't offer the grip on rocks that the softer tires will, but they are a good choice for a DD because the supposedly last 40k-50k and still offer a pretty aggressive tread. You're also less like to tear chunks out of them and I like the bead rim bead protectors on them.

i dont know where to put this.

im looking at tires and i've pretty much narrowed it down to these three. i would really like to have a all terrian as i DD my truck, but i cant sacrifice the traction of a MT, so what say you.

SOOOOO so far you like it?

How do you like the BFG KM's you have on it now? How do you find they perform on the street and what kind of mileage did you get out of them? I just picked up at set from a guy on LA4X4 really cheap for the wife's FJC. She will probably NEVER go off-road but the price was something I just couldn't pass up. :)

I'm sure there is a crack somewhere that keeps Windoze from going rogue on you. There always is. I'm running free copies on a computer of mine that did not come with any OS software but has a license.

I'm getting 17.5-18.5 with mine running 35's and 4.88's with 22RE. :O I like sentences with a lot of numbers!

its not something that can be avoided. the new versions have a completely new source code, so to go back to a older version, you have to get rid of the new source code. and they cant allow people to keep running the free "trials" cause then no one would buy the retail copies, its all aobut the money.

I remember when XP and Vista had the non-genuine alert and wouldn't allow you to update. Now, you can get a free copy easily that is identical to the real thing. When I used to be into gaming, I had to find ways to get around the 30 day limit on an unlicensed copy of XP. Now that is pretty much non-existent. Microsoft also said that Xbox 360's could be modded because of the virtual machine software. Boy were they wrong.

have no prob with them making tons of money that is what makes the world go round:)

what I do have a prob with the way they go about it .
kinda like you go test drive a new car only to return and find they have taken your car SSed the engine and have it in the CFC sooooo you either buy the new one or replace the motor in your old one .
with them stating sure it says right here on the back of page 666 of the test drive brochure that that is what we shall do.

bet it is very hard to find if it exist any notification that by downloading the FREE 7 trial you render your old OS NFG

you could always put it on another drive or partition to get a feel for it, that would leave the old OS untouched until you are ready to make the swap

TRUE BUT !!!! how many PC users out there know they should or even know how to to it. most just C FREE & push the download.

like I`ve said for years there isn`t anything that is free! even the air you breathe requires that U expend calories to move the muscles to suck it in------ its just the GOV hasn`t figured a way to tax it YET, but give em time!
