WHO DAT !!! what a great finish to unbelievable season :bounce: This team showed huge character starting with the Peyton and Brees. Its amazing what can be done when you have the right peices to the puzzle. We were digging up so old family pics in Saints gear and we found this one of the 3 stooges (my brothers and I) from 1980 when the Saints went 1 - 15 it seemed like all those paper bag years were swept under the rug after last nights win. Its gonna be one hell of a Mardi Gras this year :D

Congrats on the victory. I figure yall have seen pigs flying, hell freezing over and all of the things people have said over the years about "if the Saints ever win the super bowl i'll..." Great victory for the whole Gulf Coast region! Party On!

Later,

Lone Star Land Cruiser Roundup, Mason, Tx

Is anyone going to the roundup in march. If so would it be possible to pick up a set of headers, distributor, cylinder head and a dash choke pull knob from Mark A. Let me know if this is a possibility.

Thanks,
Drew

Cool pic Larry. I don't have any old pics of me but these are my kids after we won the Superbowl.

Good pics and glad they don't have to wait as long as we did to see them win the big game Good to see you made it home to enjoy it

That was by design.;) My tickets were purchased months ago. I just had a feeling it was our time. I am sure I was not the only one who felt it as well.

All kids in the N.O. area get off early today for the Super bowl parade so we will fight our way through traffic and crowds of people to cheer for the champs.

Cool  take many pics :)

The best parade I've ever been attended. We watched it close to the Superdome, ate dinner, and watched it again close to the Convention Center. My pictures are not great but with my kids on my shoulders, one hand on the camera, and one hand to catch beads was quite a challenge. Drew threw me a perfect pass and hit me between the numbers with a pair of Saints football beads.

Great pics and thanks for sharing :) I wish the local news would have covered more of it for those of us who couldn't go thats a once in a lifetime chance of seeing something like that. I had some family go and they said the same thing it was the best parade they've ever attended.

IMO all of this negative media Toyota is getting is being blown up for Government Motors to give Toyota a black eye and knock them out the #1 spot pushing GM back in the #1 spot. 27 - 30 cases reported is nothing considering they sell 9 Million vehicles world wide. Even if there were 300 cases out of 9 Million I'd say thats still a pretty good statistic. Toyota is well known for backing their product at any expense the biggest I remember was the headgasket recall on 3.0 V6's in the early 90's. I knew people getting brand new engines at 70 - 80,0000 miles. Thad is still driving his 4-Runner with one. I'm certain they'll work out these bugs and move on. For the folks who are paranoid because of this media frenzy trade them in so I can buy them at a reduced price :D

I agree. This is a ploy to get the American companies to start picking up more market share. I remember when my mom's Grand Prix was recalled because of the electrical system randomly catching fire. We found out online because even though it was a common occurrence, we never saw anything on the news.

I would rather have a vehicle accelerate or not stop because at least that gives me options that I can use to make a decision to avoid death, although they may have to be fast. Problems that cause the vehicle to burst into flames may not be so easy to mitigate. I also want to say that I have had multiple problems with GM transmissions in the past and I was left to fix them myself. I was never offered the option of getting things fixed at the dealership. My 2000 S-10 lost a tranny which was replaced with a new. The 2nd tranny burnt up about a week after the warranty was up. I traded that truck for the a Civic and got the 4Runner soon after. The 4Runner has went through hell with me and every problem I have had has been minimal and a direct cause of my actions.

Well BSLCA members....I've decided that I don't want to do my job anymore. I just told my supervisor that I will be leaving when my relief comes back from medical leave. I will be looking for something else, but will most likely end up going back up north. I don't know how much wheeling I will do in the near future because I will be saving money. I will definitely be up for hanging out and wrenching when people need help. It's been fun. I hope to be leaving SLB sometime in April.
