Took a week off in October and headed to my father in law's house in Baja... it was a great time!

You're not alone. I've had people bring me parts to install that they cleaned and painted and never realized were broken. And I've had people bring me used parts to install that they bought somewhere else and paid more than what a new one costs. That's a real:bang:

Finished the EL Wire mod for the dash lights. Used this kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MN99PES/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Put a small hole through the back of the cluster housing to run the red and black (+-) thats connected to the EL wire. It was a super tight fit and i used the smallest grommet i could find so I don't expect water or debris to be an issue. Used double sided tape to mount the inverter. It's all one unit so i don't have to worry about disconnecting any additional wires to remove the cluster. Looking forward to this evening when it's dark to check it out. The kids will be stoked!

Few quick updates! Installed my LED lights from @Racer65 and got them along with my rear side markers, and license plate lights wired up with a bit of help from @Coolerman.

Installed a new flasher as well so all my turn signals work!

The license plate lights would not ground through the body work so I had to run an additional ground.

I intercepted an early Christmas present from the wife from Retrosound. I ended up having to use the Din Repair kit because a PO had bent and cut the oem tabs back and off. I pulled 12V from the lower extra terminal on the fuse panel. Ended up pulling the constant 12V from a hanging red wire with a female connector. As I anticipate i'll eventually need to hook something up to it, i made a splitter so now i have the one female constant to two female constant 12V. Constant is yellow.

I sourced a few relics from the past from @pardion over in NorCal on my way through over 50. Both lights actually lit up... i wasn't expecting the bulbs to power up!

Also, if I've installed this heater control light incorrectly, please let me know. This was the best option since if i use the hole to the right, it will interfere with new retrosounds stereo.
