So I brought home the 80s older brother and it well be used for the more extreme stuff.
So the cage is probably never going to happen.

Quick update on my sliders, out in the black hills this weekend and REALLY put them to the test. Much moreso than expected. I can say I am really happy I put the kickouts in as they saved the rear quarters and tires many times. The extra clearance on the sides is HUGE. We took this thing down trails we really shouldn't have and it survived. Accidentally went down fruity pebbles on the way out, but the 'ol girl made it out in 2 pieces. (Ripped off a flare and... And ruined a tire). The only thing I'd consider doing different is building them with DOM, got a few dents but I don't mind battle scars.

Dome is the way to go and what I used.
If I were to do it again I would have them stick out further.

That's one sweet rig @Broski !
Thanks Lee !
Going to take it slow with that one. It’s need a few small things so taking the 80 to Sand Hollow Next week.
Also super comfortable with the 80 and feel like I know it 😎
I want to take my time with the 40 and not get in over my head.

Loaded up and heading to Sand Hollow at first Light tomorrow 😎

My Patrol was a trailer queen but I never advanced to that level of comfort for trips! 🤙

Cheers
I'm very fortunate as I don't have a college education and I worked with my hands (Construction worker) now retired.

Noah lost a bead and was wedged down in this hole.
It was about 95 degrees out but we all worked together to save the rim and tire and get back to wheeling 😎

My bumper is literally right over his and we’re using my winch to help lift the front of his Rig.
That and the Hi lift jack.
And yes we had a strap around the axle to keep it from unloading.

We were pushing the limits of full body Rigs today!
Was a great day of wheeling

Broski it's impressive on how much you can hang tires in the air like that.
You got big ones...
