Had a few hrs this afternoon. two try's I came up with this

There will be more pieces to fill it in.
And I think when I beef up the mount to the frame I well add one as well on each side![]()
This is the other photo Mustcamp is talking aboutNice job!
The other photo I saw a photo that is not posted that really shows the craftsmanship and the other bend in that piece you can’t see from the side profile pic.
Three on the DS two PSLooks great Broski. I like the plate/tube combo. 15-20 pounds per side? Best looking setup I’ve seen on a 80
how many sets of taillights did you go through?![]()
Those are great bends, compounds are hard to get spot on with bend back etc...looks good!Did a little fine tuning to the main hoops and got them tacked in then i started on the rest of the of the tubes.

When I get them where I like them I rough out a second one for the other side![]()
Thats what im getting at.. full exocage!!!You know.......
To make sure this is fully structurally sound........
You need to finish out the full external cage you'll end up with eventually anyway........

No plans for wheels hoopsFirst of all, nice!! Secondly, are you going to build a hoop over the wheel to the slider, or is this just a rear corner protector?
Not going to happen, just not my thing plus it would add to much weight. the most it would get is a cage that looks more like a rack with the supports that go through the roof and down the inside. You know.......
