I just got back from a trip to Utah with Cruiserdrew and the gang. They eat better camping than I ever do at home. Here's a few of the breakfasts...

That looks great - for any meal!

Had to try my hand at huevos rancheros today.
-corn tortilla
-jalepeno refried beans w/ cumin & chipotle chili powder, topped with cheese
-egg

I topped it with green sauce and then a few dashes of green Tabasco and a few dashes of chipotle tobacco.

Dayum.

I was still hungry, so I went for a second. This egg had a double yolk! Bonus!

Man, that looks exactly like my frying pan that was a piece of stamped steel made by a guy who was a goofy Deadhead that I met in the middle of Colorado a few years back.....

:hmm:

Oh, the food looks great too. :)

Hmmm... did he work for Rocky Mountain Cookware?

I got this on a tip from C-Drew. It is the bomb.

Where do I get the set of TEQ nesting pots?

Yup. He sure did and I turned Andy on to them. That's so classic.

They are really nice.

I literally met the dude in the SW MTNs of CO and he gave me one since we were camped together.

Nice man.

No sh!t. Wow. Nice to know the history.

That must have been one hell of a camp out. I'm not sure I could just hand this over to another random dude I met in the mountains:grinpimp:

Breakfast of Champions...ABQ style. The Range Cafe...thanks Ali for the turn-on!

I call this one "The Breakfast of Champions"

Take your leftover pizza...

Apply desired amount to pan...

Bake gently. In this case, @ 325 for about ten minutes, no preheat. Beer optional.

Uh...that looks suspiciously like a teflon coated pan there Cam :flipoff2:

No sir, and you have hurt the pan's feelings!

It's a $2.00 flimsy steel sheet pan from the grocery store. Layer of seasoning upon layer of seasoning upon layer of seasoning...

Every once in a while a chunk will come off and expose the bare metal. This is about 15 years old and has cooked thousands of pizzas and several hundreds of pounds of fries & tots by now.

Awful quiet in here of late...

Flexing out the Chef King griddle this morning for breakfast...with some left over King...smoked habanero chiffonade :D...and the usual suspects for company.

Oh sweet jebus... I just saw the egg. How long have you and your stomach been fighting, Spress? Reminds me of a Homer Simpson quote along the lines of "okay brain, I don't like you and you don't like me. Just get me through this and I'll get back to killing you slowly with beer".

Just to clarify, though, I DO like it. Garbage plates rock. Except when they're full of potatoes as filler. And now I'm thinking of a egg on top of dinner tonight.
