take them to a machine shop and get them machined...as long as they havent been machined a few times before they can re-cut them

most garages will have a brake lathe as well as some parts stores (I use the local NAPA) - shouldn't cost much, think $10 - $15 per rotor

What they said. Machine them and see if there is enough meat left. Autozone did mine last time. $10 each.

I don't know where you get your rotors, but I've never seen them that cheap for our trucks. At least not of a quality that I would bother buying and expect them to last very long. The rotors for my car were $80 each, that's a C-Dan price. I figured the factory ones lasted ~11 years and 130,000 miles, I might as well put the same things back on, I'll never have to worry about them again.

what do i need to do to get the rotor turn. how far do i need to brake it down? also if i want to replace the rotor how do i do that?

At this point most of us will refer you to a service manual. Not because we want to be mean, but because the number of steps exceeds hand holding in a single post. Plus, you need pictures to really understand the process if you have never done this before.

In a just shell you need to remove the hub from the spindle (lockout hub, spindle nuts, brake caliper). Once the hub is off the spindle and the bearings removed you need to pound out the studs using a brass hammer and a BFH, or use a press if you have one. There might be bolts on the back side that also hold the rotor to the hub. The other reason for a manual is reassembly. There are some spec's you need to know to get the bearing pre-loaded correctly. Also, there are some special tools like a spindle nut socket, snap-ring pliers, and some choice cuss words to get the cone washers from the lockout hub body.

Bottom line though, is you really need a manual to walk you through the steps. You might also try a search of the this forum, the FJ40 forum, and the FJ60 forum as the process is the same for all (except for drum brake FJ40s of course).
