A brake plug is a good idea for an emergency fix in a pinch. Did you find out which one works? I would thread it into a cap to keep it protected from bouncing around in the back.

Question...could the brake system be used if the ABS unit was unplugged?
No, not if the ABS to booster is unplugged. Doing this would cut 12V power to booster pump motor, so no booster pressure to aid with braking. Although there would still be some brake at very bottom of pedal stroke.

I rounded off a flare nut for the left rear hard line that runs along the frame rail from the front to back. That line is doable without taking out the gas tank yeah? The Lexus dealer has the line on order for $90

Got a new line in from Lexus. Cost $98. Also put the new rubber line in. The biggest pain was getting all the plastic clips undone from the old line. And somehow getting the new line over the Tbar frame rail. The brake line is quite flexible but there is a lot of moving stuff around in order to “bend” the line as little as possible.

Also, according to Hard brake line diameter?
for LC 80-series, the brake lines are 4.75mm OD. The fittings are M10x1.0. Flare Metric ISO Bubble ? or Double flare. Torque is 11 ft/lbs. Is that the same for LC 100-Series?
Just want to bump this for future reference for anyone searching.

I can confirm they are also M10 x 1 for the 100 series. I cross threaded the front line in my ABS unit and had to have it tapped.

Good Morning, I had a hard line bust a few days ago. Anyone know how long it takes to replace all the hard Lines ?

I got lazy this week and need the car back on the road fast so I took it to the dealer, their estimate to replace one line seems CRAZY, at $950.

I think i'm getting ripped off. Thinking of pulling the truck from Toyota and doing it myself....thanks for your input
