Brake light comes on

Brake light comes on when you apply the brakes for the first time of the day then goes out and does not come back on. Have not changed anything in months

which brake light? Taillight? 3rd brake light? dash light?

Check the brake fluid in the reservoir. If it's at all low top it off. If this is it, your brake pads are getting ready to be changed...
