I'm in the market for a shop to "sand" blast, primer, and undercoat Da'40. So far, referral shops have been:
Greg's Body Shop: They won't touch it.
Quanz: They won't touch it.
Duke City: A few years ago they wouldn't touch it. I'm going to try again.
Bodyworks by R&C: I stopped by today and Rory was too busy to talk to me. I have an appointment for tomorrow after work.
Any other suggestions?
It appears the economy has not hurt body shops. People keep wrecking cars and insurance companies keep fixing them. Oh, insurance on Da'40 will be <$300/yr.

) from the owner of Danlar (Dan, not Larry). He had the shop do a complete respray along with ding removal, etc. Those of you who had seen the car can verify that it was flawless and gorgeous. Although I'm sure doing a job for the boss would motivate the employees towards a quality job.
