Is your crossmember hard mounted to the frame with the bushings @ the cases or are the bushings mounted directly to the frame?

The boogers look so badass on that man. I love it!

Joe did you run rear PP axles .. ?

yes and 30spl Longs in front ... you do mean poly performance right

gotcha... I've heard of lots of people breaking cases when they didnt hard mount the cross member to the frame... especially true when they hang a heavy 205 behind it. I dont think the splitcase is heavy enough to warrant a second crossmember tie in but it probably wouldnt be a bad idea given the amount of torque you generate in first gear. How are the motor mounts?

That looks like a great blue print for me to start from/copy for my new cases. Any chance of you taking some more pics of it when you get a chance? No hurry as I know you are under a time crunch right now.

broke the drivers side twice or three times... now its solid chunk of alum the passanger side is stock ... what pics do you want I'll get any angle you need arnt you going 203/205 ?? or are you still runnin mini truck cases ?? I wont have time to work on it for 2 weeks so she will just set out front under the tarp still loaded on the trailer :frown:

nothing in particular... I'm just bouncing ideas around in my head on how I'm going to build my crossmember(s) for the 203/205. If you get a chance to snap pics that's cool if not... that's cool too.

sorry to hear about your luck man... that's gotta suck.

I would use spring bushings at the frame for it and the motor you want to all the flex the same ... afew guys in the club have broken alot of trannys cause they flex different ... but one guy has the same bushings mounted to the frame at the same spacing and he has not broken on since he has 2 on the motor and 4 on the tranny/cases I 'll see if I can get him to shoot some pics as well

I already got the longs on front ( 27 splines mine .. :frown: ) and still waiting for my PP rears ..

I pulled the drive shaft and shifter linkage and it just fell out  I didnt know I needed a 36 mm socket to get the tcase off SOOO I will have to buy thandt and start over later  I hope Orange45's tcase saver will help this from happening again .... but I dont think it will but I will carry spare drive shafts from now on ... I think I would of been ok in 4wd not just front :hillbilly:

I know.

It was a bad pun on words. Sorry.

You should have a 60 series split case in there besides the accidental split case you got going on.

Still a very sick rig I hope to wheel with someday.
