I forget did you paint the bottom of that or just clean it off?

The man painted every damn thing. Apparently enjoys the spray gun. Looks tough.

Installed:

headlight buckets
radiator brackets - (painted rustoluem smoke not hammered silver)
radiator skid plate - (painted rustoluem smoke not hammered silver)
core support center
hood rod
spare hood

To avoid scratches, the silver hood has been tucked away at home.

I'll swap the hoods when I get the rig finsihed.

man I am seriously digging this build. So do you plan on opening up your garage like aintscared and start 3bt swaps? I am sure there would be plenty of folks considering a road trip to Fla right now:D

installed:

clutch master
clutch slave
clutch fork boot

I purchased the boot and slave from Gatorland TOYOTA.

The parts guys there are 1st class.

They have come thru again with the bj specific service parts.

The master is a refurb from ebay.

I ran one on my 40 with great sucess.

Clint,

Thanks for the kind words.

I take your statement as a great compliment.

I can't count the number of times others have said how I ruined the 62 by converting it to a bj.

I am enjoying piecing together my rig......

I consider myslef a novice.

In a free market, consumers demand top notch work for their dollar.

Although it is good enough for me,

my "Restoluem Restoration" wouldn't cut it as a "Profe$$ional" job......

Who the hell would say that?

I love the 3fe, but I would take a bj over it just about any day...

Cruiser looks great.
