I'm selling my 1977 BJ40 (3B) from Costa Rica. It's been my daily driver for 5 years.
The truck is in the middle of a thorough restoration. Not a frame off but significant none the less.
It's had a lot of work done including:
New paint (exterior)
Steelie wheels w/cap
New wiring harness
Rebuilt alternator
Rebuilt starter
New drum brakes and more.
A chamber in the head cylinder blew out and damaged 1 piston and the rest of the cylinder. I've sourced all the parts from within the US and its going to be around $1700 (parts only). I can provide the suppliers and invoices if someone wants to pick up where I am leaving off.
Current status: Sitting in my mechanics lot. Transmission pulled out. Engine at the machine shop getting cleaned up.
My wife is eager for me to move on and so am I... As a student, I don't have the income to keep messing with this.
