So, I've messed arround with passenger fender today and decided that I don't need the radio in this day and age. This option on my car is now removed:)

Great job! Hard to believe this is your first time.

You have me conviced the way to go is to put the body on a rotissery (sp?) and sand blast it. I will be restoring a body some time and really am enjoying watching your adventure. Keep up the good work.

Only if I had to do it again.....

You must have the patience of Job, by the time your finished you should be able to weld a pop can!
I thought my truck was a bucket (no offense) you have taken on a hell of a project.
Good work so far!

Thanks man:)

I don't think it was that bad after all:) Definitely don't think I have patience as I get bored with things easily, except welding - somehow it concentrates me

Been cruising in Europe on well deserved vacation/honeymoon for a couple of month. Back to the project, started to do some bondo work:)

I loved your project until I heard the word Bondo!

By popular demand, no pictures of "painting prep work". Needless to say it is painful process but it is near to be done.

Painted some pieces today that really not going to be visible:

Well today was important milestone for me: Start the engine after it has been sitting for two years without oil, well and body at some point.

I've asked my wife to film it but forgot to mention I didn't put the muffler on yet.

I like this engine:)

Second start:

Wow, all I have to say is that this has got to be a labor of love. What an awesome job you've done on it, plus the skill set has gotten really good. Looking forward to seeing it if I end up with that rig in Calgary.

Awesome dude and congrats on getting her done!!! Got to love the smile and laugh on the first fire of the diesel. Funny how these things give us such a giddy feeling!

really great work! shows what one can do when they put their mind to it. you should be very proud
