Hey guys, Sorry it has been so long since I have updated this thread. I have been able to get alot finished on the crusier. I was able to bleed the brakes and clutch and took it for a spin yesterday. I just need to finish the tail lights and I will be able to take it out on the road. I also need to put the windshield in but other then that I finshed my last wet sand on the panit and buffed it yesterday as well so it looks super sharp. I will get pictures posted asap.

Blinkers usually need a certain amount of current flow to blink on and off. So if one or more bulbs are inoperative, those that are OK will stay on without blinking.

So I think you have ground issues with both front blinkers BigT.

More pics! :)

ok so I went and removed some of the undercoating that was keeping the signal stem from making contact with the fender. That seemed to make a much better connection. Now the driver side works great but the passenger side is still not working. Im sure I will have to do a little more cleaning up around that stem. Hopefully that will fix it. I will get more pics ASAP. Thanks again for the help!!!

Ok turn signals are fully functional. Now just the head lights need to start working. I think I will start by replacing the bulbs. Not sure if they are working to begin with. Update to follow. Thanks again for the help.

So I'm trying to sole in the idle and the timing and having a little trouble. I can get it to idle just fine with the choke on. When I push the choke in it dies. Is that a vacuum leak or do I need to adjust the timing still? It still backfires a little when it does idle.

Fuel cut-off solenoid?

Could definitely be a vacuum leak.

I'm thinking vacuum leak as well. I will try to test it tomorrow after work to see if I can find any leaks. The fuel shut off solenoid? Where would that be located? Yes I'm a ritard!

I think TJ means the idle circuit solenoid. It's on the side of the carb near the top, on the back. Should have +12V switched power going to it, and should click when the key is turned on. Might be worth pulling out to make sure the little piston thingy is in good shape and working as it's supposed to...

Ok cool thanks again to the both of you. I did just rebuild this carb but did not check to see if that solenoid worked or not. I will check that then go from there.
