Dave, Jason has sent me a better picture or the height of the ladder. Looks like it's just right.

update progress shots from trail tailor, they should really be posted on Reevesci's thread, but I figured more exposure is better. Jason has been great in keeping me updated and asking my preferences on what I want done. I wish more businesses had his talent AND customer service.

I'm already shopping around for heavier rear leaf springs. Let me know if you guys come up on some bargains.

I might have one or two of those laying around... I'll look..... :hillbilly: LOVE MY :beer::beer::beer:

Thanks for the compliments Mike, I just try and give my customers what they want and what they pay for. My stuff isn't laser/cnc quality (YET!! Hope this is coming in the next month or two) I hand cut every piece with a zip disc or hand held plasma. But, its solid as HELL and I'd run it any day of the week.

Cheers,

J

J, good to know, I can truly say this is a hand made American bumper. They won't make them like this anymore :D.

I'll eventually take some action shots that you can exploit on your FOR SALE section.

Mike, I didn't get a pic of it today but I got the Hi-Lift and jacked the rear of Goss up off the 1/4 wing this morning. The bumper is not bolted to the frame at the moment and it lifted the whole A$$ end off the ground with no damage or rub to the 1/4 panel. I'll do this again and get a pic for you.

Nothing fancy, only documenting for posterity's sake. Took the wiper arms off, sanded them to bare metal and painted them black.

Took no more than 15 minutes to sand and paint. Once they dry, put them back on.

No worries J, take all the time you need. Good things shouldn't be rushed.

Just getting where I need to be is important to me. When I work on things I need to be in the right "head space" Lots going on with the wife, cruisers and family in general right now.

I have located a 40 and 2-62s to purchase and model things after.... Hope things are changing for the better....

That's good stuff, as long as you take care of yourself all good things will come. There's an old saying that translates like this (or I'm making this one up, I can't remember). You point the ship to the correct bearing and we'll be the wind in your sail. Basically means we're all supporting you.

Soon you'll need an apprentice.

I'm a LONER for the most part... I appreciate all the support I can get... I got your ladder assembly all welded out today and moved on to my crap... I know I said I'd be back after it on Monday, but.. the mood hit me to weld for a few minutes.. :meh: Then sanded and bodywork...

No pics, Monday for sure..

Took the day to kayak and snorkel. Once we're done being in the water, we're going to explore some more with Big Red.
