Did you drop ceramic into the cylinder?
I suspect the mechanic did. Hasn't been running right since I brought her home. It's a pain to work on cause it's a horizontally opposed engine that's air-cooled and has very little room to fit my hands and tools.Did you drop ceramic into the cylinder?
I jokingly mentioned that I was going to need new tires soon, she went off on me about the 6 other sets I have in the backyard. It was not easy convincing her I was kidding. It's a good guess, but no, I'm not getting new tires...yet.
Those U bolt heads are a terrible surface for when the airbags make contact. You should figure out how to get a flat plate to have it hit against. Maybe get some threaded couplings to screw onto the threads of the U bolts and a plate with recessed holes for bolts to thread into the coupling.Well, looks like i bent one of the airbag mounts just in time to go camping. I think this happened last week at the range when i hit a ditch.
I'm about to install a 40-gallon steel fuel tank which will add roughly 400 lbs once full. So yeah, I really need to get this fixed and reinforced.Use the trailer and stop taking so much crap in your truck![]()
I will be adding some spacers of sorts. The distributors of Boss suspension made the mount for me about 4 or 5 years ago and it held up pretty well until I went to Lee's place last weekend and hit a ditch with the bags fully inflated at a speed not for a 4x4 application.I think that mount is supposed to sit flat on the springs and not span the gap between the nuts. Add a spacer?
Nah, I was with my kid and live ammo. It was just tall grass that concealed the ditch.Ah, there was drinking involved!
