Bestop Soft Top Threaded Stud Question for Tigertop

I have an old Tiger Top that came with the FJ that we are rebuilding. it has never been installed.

We were planning on installing it but we don't want to use the Screw-In button snaps that originally came with it. They now have a Threaded Stud option that has a nut on the back. See attached.

I was going to buy them from Bestop, but they want an arm and a leg for them - $6 each. There are 24 total needed, which means they want $144 for 24 snaps. That seems a bit outrageous. Another way of looking at that - the 24 threaded snaps cost about 1/10 of a whole new soft top

Anyone know where else these threaded snaps can be sourced?

I purchased my bestop back in the 80's and it came with threaded stud snaps. I was going to mention Sailrite too, they have pages of various snap type fasteners. I've purchased tools, parts and materials from them over the yrs. Some stuff is pricey and you might find it cheaper. Their how to videos are very good. Or search DOT snaps, they're a common quality mfgr.
