I put a leather wrap on the steering wheel a few months ago. It’s holding up very nicely, I’m pleasantly surprised. It did take a while to get it just right, watched the entire first Mad Max movie and half of the second.

Geez seems like you did that the hard way, removing the airbag and wheel. I did mine sitting in the driver's seat, didn't remove anything.I put a leather wrap on the steering wheel a few months ago. 5 minutes to pull the wheel and then watch a movie in the living room… that’s the easy way for me!Geez seems like you did that the hard way, removing the airbag and wheel. I did mine sitting in the driver's seat, didn't remove anything.
IMO, its easier just to pull the airbag and the wheel. Not difficult at allGeez seems like you did that the hard way, removing the airbag and wheel. I did mine sitting in the driver's seat, didn't remove anything.
Agreed, but use a puller or be very careful when removing. When I did this the first time my clock spring came apart with the wheel removal. Nightmare to fix.IMO, its easier just to pull the airbag and the wheel. Not difficult at all![]()
You’re not the only one that did it, FWIWWell, I’m done drinking for the night. I just spent about 20 seconds trying to tap/hold on that “live photo.”
Lol. Sorry guys! Screenshot! You’re not the only one that did it, FWIW
Does it really turn 300K?New favorite little toy. Emphasis on little. But with big capability.
Great for getting campfires to light-off. Blowing sand and silt off people, interior, exterior of car, RTT. Beyond practical uses, it's just fun.
Replaces a 20V Dewalt blower in my kit. Win.
I did the H11 low beam last week or so and replaced the fog bulbs with yellow LED. Haven't done the high beam upgrade yet. I had done the H11 swap on the 2020 Tacoma I sold and replaced with my 09 LC so was already familiar with it.New to me 2009 200 series needs halogen bulb upgrade.
Im not really wanting to run LED.
Has anyone done the H9 bulb swap for the H11 bulb on he low beams?
Im also wondering about replacing the hb3/9005 high beam with 9011?
Thx for any replies
I think you'll be pleased with the results of both swaps. Definitely enough of a difference to justify the small cost. I've done both and I think my lighting went from "OMG I can't see diddly-squat" to "good enough for me".New to me 2009 200 series needs halogen bulb upgrade.
