Under $100 still…
-An old pic of mine… But for anyone who hits rocky trails beyond mild… This is a great mod under $100 I highly recommend.
I paid an i dependent muffler shop $60 to cut, curve exhaust pipe as directed and re-weld & attach hanger. Massively helpful in the big rocks…

How much louder is the truck now?

If it’s louder, it would require a decibel meter to even notice. I’m not into noisy exhaust…meaning it would bug me if it was loud.
—So… Zero noise concerns lopping it off. Just be sure to do a simple pipe in its place sufficiently route the exhaust a d done.

The lack of additional noise honestly left me baffled as to why they bothered including it at all.

My wife got me this cool front license plate for around $35 or so. I like the size of it. Doesn't hang down too low on the front bumper.

Fumoto drain valve F-103 < $22 from Amazon.

I have had one of these on my old 80 for about 20 years now, one of the best things I did. I will be putting one on my 200 now too... Might just see if they swap over and put the old s***ting one on my 80...lol.

I have the fumoto on my lawnwower. I think the ValvoMax is a better, more solid design. Faster too. It costs more, but the stainless construction, cap, and ease of use is worth it.

It fits perfectly, we have this exact plate on ours. Those factory "holes" in the bumper folks ride around with were driving me crazy too.

That's why I run a front plate. Technically it's the law in Texas but more importantly the uncovered front bumper holes were absolutely killing my OCD.

I like the LC plate option.

Same boat. Tried a full size front until I found this on eBay

Mine got caught on my son's pants when he walked by, so I'm having a new one made out 1/4" acrylic and had the size and corner radius adjusted to match the spot better.

Even cleaner alignment & hole coverage? Nice!
I had a similar version of those fasteners start to rust after a few months (yours look to be better quality, though), and switched over to these fasteners, which are holding up well after like 6 months.
Added the fasteners front and back, and keeping with the @DallasTide OCD corrections, decided we needed to clean up the edges of the rear plate too. Found this silicone plate frame for $9.99 that really cleaned up the overall look. (no pictures...but will updated here later)

Can you throw up a link? Thanks for the share.
I found ours, from THIS ebay seller.

Funny thing, the design didn't matter much to me because the plan was always to have the back side facing out, because all I wanted was to cover those holes. behind:

Wouldn't the sun just cook the charging port and anything mounted up there?

Ummm…. My new Ram pickup has a charging port there from the factory, so I’d guess no 😂

Nice, was that the correct thread size M12@1.25? Great find and the bag, nice easy clean oil change.
