I dunno man, I like the grass-finished beef from here in Humboldt County, Ca. better than anywhere else on earth.
As you know, happy cows eat happy grass, and happy grass comes from Humboldt County.

Yea, grass fed beef is the best. Lots of good grass fed beef here in Wyoming.

I get a whole cow butchered each year for about $350. If I don't finish it, I give the old stuff to the salvation army to make room for new stuff.

That is awesome!
I wish I could get a hold of something within that price range, especially the grassfed brisket.
Grassfed brisket, some salt, spice and about 20 hours of pecan smoke is a pretty tough thing to beat.

We have a great source of tasty beef from a rancher up in Sierra Valley CA that are primarily grass fed but he made a deal with a couple of the local breweries and he then finishes them with the grain mash that is left over from the beer making process. About the best I've tasted...not counting the beef in Argentina which pretty much is my benchmark since!

Jesus that's a great price. I pay a bit more than that for a 1/3 of a grass fed from Nebraska.

But the best beef comes from Costco - I thought everyone knew that. :grinpimp:

I guess I should confess...

I own some land that I received by chance a long time ago and I am by no means a rancher. Also, if you don't let grazing on it, weeds will infest it and make the grass useless. So I let this guy run his cows on it each summer to keep the natural eco system in check. In return he hooks it up with a nice plump cow and keeps the fences up. The $350 is just what I pay the butcher to cut and package everything up.

Y'all are lucky that NoahPanLiam got banned.
He's back isn't he?

Nope, it's just Chuck Testa:

Wal mart sells some good quality stuff as well.

Yeah, but you have to check the date and make sure that's it's been aged and frozen for 28 days. I think that's what noah used to say.
