Yes a winch, when I can afford one. Also going to do a SAS in the future, so the Torsion bars will have to deal with it until then.

I think it looks very good so far and good job getting it mounted. Since you obviously have great fabrication skills, I would agree with a previous suggestion about cutting off part of the bottom of each side at an angle so that the bumper isn't quite so deep at each end. It also looks a little wide to me so you might think about cutting some off each end and welding it back at a right angle (more or less). Here's a good corner shot of an ARB which should give you a better idea than my description.

How much does your ARB weigh?

Now THAT'S a bumper! Can't beat it for $40 either (or get in it's way) :p ...and you can always whittle on it later to suit your fancy.

Hack off about 4" from either side and give it a nice little upward angle and you'd have yourself a much nicer and lighter bumper. Thing does look crazy stout though, but way oversized for a mini-toy.

It looks as though the bumper will dictate how much and where it would be able to get lightened. I don't think you'd get 4" off the bottom at the outter edge.

Even though it may be on the heavy side a well balanced truck although heavy will work just as well. Something I am going to do to mine is dual batteries located in the rear which will take some weight off the front and increase the rear percentage at the same time. My bumper/winch combo weighs in at 175#.

You misread my post, 4" off of the ends, make it narrower since it sticks out so far past the running lights then cut some out so you can angle the bottom up (like the ARB's is cut).

It doesn't appear to stick out any farther than the tires as judged by all the pics Iv'e seen and I would prefer to have the protection for the park light on tight trails. The small portion you'd be able to angle back for the "ARB" look isn't worth the extra effort IMHO.

I think it looks cool as-is, makes a fella think twice before gettin' in the way.

ONLY??? Whoa... your torsion bars are gonna hate you for this.

If they aren't already... Middle pic, post #16.

Looks like he's already got some stuff in the arms. (Droop v, stuff ^)

Looks like a prime time for BJ spacers to me... If he doesn't have them already.
