To do:
-low beams not working
-wire temp and tach
-make block off for air intake
-get hamper for all the panties thrown at us
-wipe windows with water repellant
-new tag
-plan path through the mtns


Done:
-clean it up!
-fixed back window
-new brake MC for disc front
-adjust rear brakes
-fab battery tie down (first time with new M18)
-clean dual battery connectors
-replace 6 heater hoses
-new coolant
-oil change
-pack up tools
-mount 33” spare
-seal up some holes in cab

We are waiting on the 4 speed swap. Time got too tight and didn’t want to risk a major mess up. It cruises just fine at 70mph all day and Seth wants to help me swap the trans and diffs when he returns to Alabama anyway.

I made him this budget tool box when he got the Hilux and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s packed up with a box of spares.

“Haul ass” to TX on Sunday. Then to NM/CO on Monday, then cruise through the mtns.

We want to run the Million Dollar HY if the WX is good.

I’m out of town the next 3 days, have Sat to prep a little more, then hit the road

Well damn

had a little puddle this morning. The trans was wayyy overfilled. Research shows the seal between the case and trans fails and the trans fills up.

SOR actually sells a “fix” for it. Just a line that connects the fill plugs to move the oil back to the case. I dropped the plugs off at my buddies machine shop and he’s going to make me one by Saturday while I’m out of town
