What's going to happen to the old roof? In particular the rain gutter? I have a feeling I'm going to need one before too long

Hit me off line whitey. I have the tailgate from my shorty in the spare garage.

I was originally going to run soft top amby doors, but have always loved the 40,45 tailgates, and thanks to tornadoally, I now have a complete tailgate setup. I plan to run an fj45 pickup top at some point and with the tailgate it will mimick a shorty removable top 45, only a little longer!

Looking good!

What are your plans for the soft top? It seems like there are a lot of folks out there making repro tops these days but I haven't seen troopy tops.

On a different note my boys were watching a goofy movie called kangaroo jack last night and the villains were driving around in a troopy soft top. Reminded me of your truck except for the spare tire being mounted on the hood??

Your 45 is gonna look like Uted's HJ47 then? That gunmetal grey troopy with the 47 ute cab.

That went on fast. Bit faded compared to your paint. It is over 50 years old tho.

Man, I sure wish Gene were around to see this.

Funny Mark, this is the first I've been here in years and I read this thread and your post. Yeah this project is awesome.

Is it too soon to say 'Welcome back?' I spent 8 days in Saline last month. There's a pic in the general announcements section. Cell/internet above the Chicken Strip.

Sorry for the hijack Whitey.

I think if you greet everyone with 'hezitgarn?' and a Fosters she'll be right mate!
