As an update about alternate options, several guys in my local club have used a Mitsubishi e-fan and controller. It is said to mount easily with some DIY tabs to hold the shroud to the radiator.

@bonestock Any update on this? How did the install work out? Wiring for both AC flip on as well as thermostat or RPM based?

I was hoping Phil would release the hardware again without the fan since Depo fans are not available.

There are many options/brands for fans out there. Wiring could be easily done too especially if you use a switch panel.

Aux fan Update: I also installed the max-Fab-4x4's aux fan kit which uses the 100 series electric fan to kick on with AC. Kit worked great. Harrison was great/fast with the emails/questions etc. I customized it for manual on/off as well, see below:

Customized: For manual turn on/off (vs with AC only) I Installed an OEM fog light switch PN: 84160-90K01 and changed button decal to an Aux Fan switch. Kit works and turns on when AC is turned on. I also wanted it to turn on manually when not using AC to help with cooling when pulling up Mountain pass' or in general. Also nice to have on briefly after vehicle stops/turned to ACC.

Kit Harrison engineered is designed to turn aux fan on/off with AC, has nice relays and Oem plug integration with all correct connectors. Great instructions etc. are included. Its well thought through. Becuase i also wanted manual control of fan, Harrison walked me through tapping into the relay wire ground (on/off) to enable the interior mounted OEM switch be able to over-ride the AC pressure switch.

Feeling more prepared for a warm KC summer and Solid Axle Summit in august!

Pulled part from ebay listing: P/N 84160-90K01

Minor Issues: Only a few minor alignment issues on the bracket for fan, may have been a me only issue, but worked with pieces given after moving top hole 5mm , may have been alignment from PO installing new AC condenser/moving a few items and not bolting items down .
Recommended: Adding 1/4-3/8" black split loom to protect wires/make look factory. based on how you route it better to have some and use to heat/shield etc. this wasn't in the kit but cheap on amazon etc.
