Hubs.
Washers.
Lock washer.
Gaskets.

From what I remember, that is it. All the hard bits should be acquired with the boneyard hubs.

Replacing Toyota AUTO Hubs - ORN

That write-up's decent but forgets the star washer assemblies to shim up the free play as well as how to fix the actuator in place if you wish to eliminate the ADD.

Parts also needed:
~43410T: SPACER-FRONT DRIVE SHAFT LH/RH, which are all 3 possible sizes needed, 90560‑27005T which is 2.01mm, 90560‑27010T which is 1.8mm, and 90560‑27011T which is 2.25mm.
~Hose-clamp for the engagement fork.

This discusses what I did to mine using the non-ADD left tube assembly. If you use the hose clamp trick, use one that leaves about 1/2" of strap sticking past the adjuster screw. You then fold the left over strap around the top of the adjuster screw preventing it from ever walking loose over time.

Here's the PDF Parts/Ref.

Decided to check my "Goodie Box", want this stuff? Factory Brand New Spare Parts*, as well as the ECT relocation kit's sitting right here. Just need to know do you want the ECT indicator to be backlit in orange or green. :flipoff2: *Minus the snap rings (43410/43420), hubs, cones, washers, nuts, studs, I have 10 or 11 spare studs, just get them, the snap rings, and all that like Pappy said with the donor assemblies.

thanks

Thanks for the heads up guys,i appreciate all the parts offer Shane i might need it all.i would just like to add that this is ADD system differential and i'm not too familiar of the working system, what do i remove or modify how much work is involve?thanks for all your input.:)

If you are sourcing parts from the boneyard or from the scrap pile of leftovers from a sas you might be able to find the "long axle tube/shaft assembly" from a manual hub truck. Then you just unbolt the old ADD axle tube and replace it with the non-ADD axle tube. This would eliminate the disconnect mechanism and collar and two piece shaft and you would instead have a much simpler one piece axle shaft.

nice

I was thinking of that Doug, but i wasn't sure of the possibilities.would it be easier to just find a complete front diff. with manual hubs? i'm not too familiar what would bolt up to a certain vehicle for example i have a 93 hilux that is manual hubs while the other is a 91 4runner is this swap possible?hoping that there would be a donor that same exact year.need more info please i would like this to be something like a weekend project given that i have all the parts.:D

I am pretty sure 86 to 94 should all fit. When I swapped in factory 4.88's the entire axle was shipped and it was from a automatic tranny and ADD hub 4 runner. It fit in my manual hub and tranny pickup with no issues. I did swap the long side axle though, or rather I kept the old axle.

The non-ADD left shafts are out there and it's an easy swap, same for the manual hub's. You just need to have the parts in hand and ready to go and we'll get it done here if you like. My driveway's almost flat, and I also have a pair of wood ramps to level the rig if need be. Worst case, I actually have room in my garage and we work in there if it rains, or it needs to sit for a day/whatever. Call Larry at Yodaman, Jeff at ToyConnection, or even Marlin, one of those three's likely to have it, or I can help find the parts while out on my route since I deal w/ recycler yards too.

*Get the parts and come on over. :D

I got a text saying he got the rig running. :D So this hub conversion might be not too far off.

Warehouse Guy's wife had their kid, technically I'm "on call" now for weekends.

Do you mean as far as the final details, cleanup, etc, sure, I do have a time frame coming up really soon, best discussed via phone. :)

As far as the hubs, let's see what the kid says and go from there. Let me know if you want me to still put the word out around the recycle yards.
