Hello, I'm very happy ' cause I just bougt my newest adquisition, a 1971 FJ55
I'm from Chile, where pigs are very rare, so I was actually giving up on finding one. It used to be military then the previos owner bought it, swap a 2F on it and made a SPOA ( and repainted it). I went to pick it up las week. I just love it. I´ll try and post some pics. It's got ambulance rear doors, wich I know are very rare in the states, not so over here.

Love it...and yes I want the ambi doors bad.
And speaking of making the tow vehicle look small...I have a pic of my friends FJ40 towing a 30+ foot boat, with a school bus parked along side (behind it in the photo)

Probably the only time that Cruiser will be pulled by a Jeep. :D

Nice find!

Thanks for the good words...., the metallic thing on the windshield is actually duct tape, 'cause a big hole in the winshield. That's one of the things i gotta change.
I´ll probably end up using the pig as a DD and a tow rig for the fj40....the heep is the wife's DD, you know, something confy for herself and the kid..:D
I had to drive 500 miles hauling the pig and that trailer has no brakes on it..... so it was really a sick ride.....fortunately we have pretty good highways, so it wasn't THAT bad.

Pigs are rare over here, but still I know the wherabouts of at least 2. One is owned by a cruiser guy ( he has a 40 and a 55, and loves cruisers), it has a 6L chevy engine in it, and the other is used up in the mountains by some farmer who wouldn't sell it.

Nando

PS I gotta get some e-brakes or the trailer
