What is deep? <20" ought to be easy.

What's the (non snorkeled) air intake height on a 100?

I'm good for about three feet or so.

Cover of the airbox sits at about 42-43". Bottom is right around 36" Somewhere in there is my limit.
....then we better also bring some gaffer's tape for the doors! I'm not particularly excited about the idea of water inside my truck.

Unless y'all's trucks are mangled, the factory door seals do a really good job keeping the water out.

I've had my 60 in a raging river splashing water just over the hood and had very little water make it in. Minuscule amounts.

The 80s and 100s should be even better.

Do we have one snorkeled truck going to be the water frontrunner?

I agree with Cam; water fording should not affect door sills

I plan on bringing a set of waders so we can walk it first if necessary.

I know nothing about water crossings. If the weather strip will keep the water out Im good to 3'

Your truck will be fine at 20".

Mine was fine even doing this:

Ozarks are a lot bigger and better with lots of cool hiking scenic areas but it is a few more hours of driving. Ideal thing is to take two weekends during the crawl and spend 5 days truck camping, I also hate over landing term, and then role into crawl. When I get home if I can find my old maps I got some of those routes marked from the trip with bossman and bomar (who carried a deuce in a walmart bag on the back of his 62, taking leave no trace a little too far)

Post from my old trip.

The deuce trip, there is a pic somewhere of the bag hanging on the rear wiper.

That looks awesome, Mike. Did y'all come across many people on the FS roads?

This is could turn into a spring, Crawl, fall, and winter deal.

Same here. My daughter is four and I already want to take her. Prob a couple more years tho...

That's the perfect age.
