Are Shackle Pins Worn?

How can you tell when greasable Shackle pins need replacing? My pins show signs of of heat scorching but otherwise seem fine. Do they need to be replaced?

The splines look flattened and might not do a decent job of preventing the pin from spinning, but other than that they are fine.

In my experience those break at the shoulder just behind the end of threads, look closely at the radius at bottom of shoulder all the way around bolt to see if cracks have started,
