I just pulled the front differential on my 1995 hzj75 as I have a leaking seal. But now I see these little flakes on some of the edges of the ring gear and pinion gear.... There is also some very fine metal shavings stuck on some parts and there were fine metal dust on drain plug magnet...

I've read through the threads on repairing the LX 570 seats and saw lots of recommendations for Leatherique and a few example applications. I have a 2013 LX with the semi-aniline seats. Below are photos of the wear on the driver's left bolster. Frist off, geez, that looks like bonded leather...

How can you tell when greasable Shackle pins need replacing? My pins show signs of of heat scorching but otherwise seem fine. Do they need to be replaced?
