I'm in Vegas right now and will be back in Calgary tonight. No voice mail or calls from the shipping company. To me it sounds like the bumpers have not shipped. I guess we will have to wait and see. Cheers

just spoke with Alex the canadian bumpers are still on US soil sitting in warehouse, his broker was saying they needed more information, which I provided to him. They are being shipped to Goneloco in calgary
one other issue he had was his broker was saying we needed a brokerage firm up north. BUT we can self broker so a little bit of confusion on that end......
the reason he was not able to supply shipping companies is the fact he used a broker he than contracted the shipments to other firms. My suggestion be patient, hes working on it. I am going to work with on getting his shipment arrangements fixed for coming north in the future.......
I cannot speak for anyone elses bumpers but I can share that the canadians bumpers sat in a warehouse for a bit waiting more info

well I'm glad he's calling you guys, he hasn't returned any of my calls or text, Called him 3 times already.
EDIT: Just talked to Alex, so the shipping company picked up the bumpers, but because of "holidays" they didn't go out until Monday 6th... WTF....
Estimated to arrive later this week or early next week, so one more week? What's the hurry right?

What an absolute joke! I hate being lied to.This is totally unacceptable behavior from a vendor. Who's doing the shipping? Moe ,Larry and Curly? I can not recommend buying anything from this company at this time.

I can still recommend the bumper bc I truly love it over other bumpers, but customer service is not the best. Perhaps you can recommend with an extended shipping date

I think it's safe to say that maybe AOE got a little in over their heads with such a large order. As I understand this company is rather young so hopefully this will be a learning/building experience. Hopefully next time Alex and his team will not promise to build so much in so little time. And also figure out a better way to ship. It would be wise to understand that just because something is no longer in the shop doesn't mean that has "shipped" when using a shipping agent. Hopefully Alex can work with better shipping partners in the future, even if it cost a little extra money. I'm all for helping new/small businesses out and struggling through growing pains. Having grown up the son of a small business owner I can relate to the struggles.

Even though I am the last in line, I am still very excited about the deal Alex gave us. I was going to order an ARB for more money. I think this is a better looking bumper by far. I want mine asap also but I know shipping is very expensive for large heavy items so I can wait to save some money.

Well Marty I'd say your likely on par for delivery along with the first bumper in line. I think the deal or price rather was good as well and agree with the whitechicken that they probably got in over their head and while I can stand to be patient I also agree with ab and others the lack of communication needs addressing for their own companys benefit. I'd rather know the truth about a delay than fed stories of what we want to hear. And sure heavy items have their shipping challenges but I don't think your saving much money there. I had two bumpers and a skid delivered for less and even had my 45 delivered from canada for just a hair over 400 If anything the brokering of the transit caused delays and confusion at minimum. Hopefully it was a choice made for convenience and efficiency rather than profit on their end.
i still applaud his efforts for the turn around of the fabrication, in a lot places like Tacomaworld some of the vendors like shrockworks and relentless are 5 to 6 months before your bumper is fabbed and in a lot of cases cash up front...
I just hope after the conversations yesterday everything gets moving, I think hes learning the ill effects of shipping a lot of items around christmas time, and why sometimes its easier to skip the shipping brokers and go straight to the freight companies

Bulhas, I do agree with you, it was the busiest time of the year for businesses and consumers. Christmas followed by new year is a week down the drain, I'm relieved that they are built and on their way to your doors, mainly bc I'm constantly being harassed for updates 
Even with the delays, this group buy is going far better than my sldiers/skid plate group buy... I can't wait to get everything bolted on.
I plan on doing a group buy for lift kits/ King shocks and OME springs very soon, no parts need to be built so it will be a lot smoother. I also have plans of doing a rear bumper group buy with dual swing arms built by a more reliable source. let me know if you have interest in a rear bumper.
