good lookin truck, but the doors say it's an earlier vintage, maybe even 76...no big deal, just sayin. 77 front doors had a rounded upper leading edge corner on the window frame- not a hard angle as shown by the pics. those would have been used till the 77 transitional year. I guess Mr T could have opted to use up remaining inventory of doors and bodys at the onset of that model year, but the factory propaganda says those doors are from an earlier rig...

No, a buddy of mine was thinking of heading there this weekend but with that much rust... Doesn't sound worth it to me. We'll see what he says. I didn't find a listing for it on mud, do you have a link to it?

I have a 03/77 pig with the same 'earlier' , angled doors. I thought the rounded doors came later in '77... any one else have other examples of early doors on there '77 pig that aren't rounded? Wondering now if mine had been swapped?!

you know, it could be toyota using the remaining stock of earlier bodies and doors. I have seen this several different times now. I was under the impression that the change-up happened in late 76, but I guess it could have taken longer to cycle thru the older style tubs. Another possibility is that there have been several earlier pigs rebranded as later pigs for whatever reasons(rust). do your vin tags match the frame number?
