Anyone gone with a Kensun xenon HID conversion kit?

Option #1 (Recommended)

• Buy a set of clear depo headlights
• Send them to a HID retrofitter and ask for TSX or S2K projectors, a set of ballasts, and 2 relays
• Get a Slee Headlight Harness
• Install the system
  
• Smile cause you know you achieved greatness

Result:
You will have the best headlights you have ever imagined, that are adjustable and also friendly to other drivers. This will be the best mod you have on your truck.

For other drivers: up to $0



Option #2 (Easy way out)

• Keep your stock headlights
• Buy some Chinese Ebay HID conversion kit
• Install
• Smile cause you think you achieved greatness

Result:
Brighter than stock but no where close to proper HID. You have a high likelihood to blind oncoming traffic which could lead to causing someone and their family to crash when you blind them.

Total Cost:
For you: $200
For other drivers: up to $$$$$(immeasurable)...

pick up a kit from The Retrofit Source for $300 and do a proper retrofit. Super simple with a projector like the Mini H1 and will have great light output!

I did what bwakeling suggested and havent looked back. Did have to source the depos though. Oh Retrofit resource also sells projector lens you can swap out if you buy the other projector headlights ebay sells. You can mod those if you can find the depos. Call retrofit resource they will set you staright

I am very happy with Ebay LEDs for $50.
They are a flood style light, like the Halogens, with no direction.
For some reason they make Road Signs glow.
They do have fans, but I have seen new styles with fins for cooling.
Never been flashed, but I wouldn't be opposed to it either.

I Did a Halo conversion with lights the bought on ebay very pleased with the lights, I will find out all information if anyone is interested.
